Okay yeah I would absolutely love it if Mordred wanted to fight Gohan if she ever saw his abilities in action and such. And he's just trying to politely say no because honestly he's kind of unintentionally arrogant? DBZ is OP.

Summary: She's a powerful and clever witch who had to grow up entirely too fast, is in denial about the mild PTSD she's suffering, and while she can sometimes be an insufferable know-it-all, she is a genuinely nice person and she's a loyal friend. She's a total book nerd but she still occasionally enjoys some rebellion.
Daily routine: None yet, she's new
Current plans: Figure out what's going on and see what she can do to help herself and others around her.
Future plans: Make some friends, especially people her age or close to it. Accept and battle her PTSD and, preferably, find a confidant to share some of her experiences with so that she can stop holding them all in and can heal properly. Kick ass/take names, as appropriate?
Anything else?: Hermione has her wand with her. Someone befriend her and help her lighten the heck up, pls and thx. This thing is better late than never, right?
Yeah. Like Fate usually tops out at the occasional possible planet destroyer, and those are pretty rare. At full power the wiki says Mordred's best attack has a range of 800 people, so it's just kind of sad by DBZ standards. Which I am entirely cool with her learning the hard way because that's usually how she ends up learning things.

But that sounds good! Scavenging is awesome and all but Lance really can't hunt without a rifle, and him and Keith have like... one whole knife for the both of them, so. Some pointers would be fantastic. How/when do you think we can make this a thing?

Sorry for the delay, it's been a couple busy days.
But heh, yeah, Lance has been an exceptional nurse. The idea was not to have it last too long, just to be consistent with the place he woke up in. But thanks! It will be neat to see that people have that sort of magic around here, when it does come up.
And lets see... Keith spent two years with his mother (and a cosmic wolf) on top of a... space whale of sorts where he learned a bunch of stuff to add to what he already knew. He knows the basics of setting up a fire and make proper shelter (though that won't be needed here), and he knows how to hunt, too, albeit probably through peculiar techniques, like sword throwing. Which is a thing that he does a lot of. He knows how to cook what he caught, all those things. I'm not certain he knows how to fish... He is a quick learner, but the sort of patience needed to fish is not his thing.
Besides, he knows how to fight. With his body and with a dagger/sword. Not so good with a gun.

I'M SUPER DOWN FOR THIS, now we just need to get to a point where the hunting party can happen so they can meet and such.
Yeah, the DBZ power creep kind of makes battles hard to plot out. But I like the idea of like, Mordred constantly goading Gohan to fight or something and he keeps saying no and eventually due to constant badgering Gohan's temper flares a little and Mordred's just kind of like "wait hang on maybe this was a bad idea."
I mean, it doesn't have to be exactly like that, but that's the rough draft I have in my head atm.

Well, I put in an idea on Discord regarding Gohan starting a hunting party, and maybe like, some rotating buddy system. I imagine that'd be a good place to start, since I still need to actually... well, intro Gohan.
Buddy system and hunting party both sound like good plans. ... though, if it rotates, expect to just count Keith and Lance as one person because they're not about to let the only other person from home out of their sight. Are you planning a network post to suggest the hunting trip?
My rough draft so far is: intro log for Gohan, get some CR going, and later on do a network post regarding a hunting party. I imagine that'd be around the time they'd pair up, since one big group hunting for animals would literally draw away all the animals
